I have to say you have completely missed the mark with this rant. First of all if YOU really listened to the lyrics she is talking about social revolution and how she wished she lived in two specific time periods that she associates with social revolution. The first being the 60's and hippies, hence the flower in her hair and second the 70's when punk was being born, hence the punk rocker.

I would also like to point out that she is American and most pro football there is now played on Astro turf style fields and hence the comment regarding footballers with long hair and dirt on their face.

I can also loan you my Sandi Thom CD if you wish so you can listen to it further.

I'd just like to say that she's actually English, I should know as I've had to endure her petulant whine for over a year now!! Hence the 'football' she is refering to is soccer, and to my knowledge they've allways had hair like girls and have never had dirt on their faces, cum more like.

I stand by all of my musical purchases, especially my Vanilla Ice CD, which I think Mags stole by the way. Oh how I long to listen to his sweet raps and beat boxing on "What it's like having a Ronnie".
